The new wing of the building, designed to replace the garage that was to be demolished and connected to the building, accommodates the ground-floor entrance hall and garage, and the upstairs master bedroom with bathroom and roof terrace, thus freeing up space in the existing building for an upstairs wardrobe room. The new building section appears as a block refined with white structural plaster, the facade of which, by varying the direction of the texture, opens up before our eyes like a monochrome painting. The two building masses are connected by a neck member with a dark gray fiber cement facade cladding that forms a distinct contrast in both color and material.
